The Black Tubes are a fictional band, portrayed in the episode The Chokes by real-life band (and friends of Noel and Julian's) The Horrors.
The band accidentally fed Sammy the Crab (a reforming alcoholic) alcohol, who later goes on to front the band after Vince collapses from wearing incredibly tight drainpipes - they have a strict skinny-legs policy.
