Mrs Gideon is a keeper at the Zooniverse in the radio series and the first television series. She is Howard's love interest throughout, despite his ineptitude at wooing her. To Howard's annoyance, she seems more interested in Vince. She is played by Victoria Wicks.

In the radio series she is mentioned in the Jazz episode as Howard's jazz-playing partner. It is implied that there may have been a romantic connection until Howard is ousted in favour of Rudi, with his fingers of fury and simple rustic wisdom.
In the television series, she appears in Killeroo, Mutants, and Charlie. She also appears in the pilot episode of the TV series, but not in the final version of Tundra.
